In this body of work I
was looking for more simplicity, unexpected shapes, hard edges, limited
palette, shapes carried forward to the next frame, with variations. My
idea was to work quickly and abstractly, determined to think as little
as possible, without regard for outcome! I have to conclude that paint
wants to find figures, landscapes and meaning everywhere.
Yupo, the surface these are painted on, is an opaque synthetic film.
